FIRST UP: THE LIVING AND KITCHEN SPACES

My ride or freaking die.

That is Brad and Marissa Freeman, the clients and amazing humans who live get to freaking live here. They are quite literally the dream clients that every designer hopes for.

Full trust. Full momentum. Full everything.

Everything is a go, no questions asked. I know I say that every client is my favorite client, but really— these two people. They are just beyond. I don’t know what else to say other than thank you. Thank you for trusting little ole’ me with your big move to Nashville, and bringing life into your brand new home. We made magic here, and to this day is my favorite and is the most special project I have ever designed. Top to bottom. From the studs. We did everything from designing the custom millwork, to picking out the fabric on the custom drapery and wallpaper, to picking out tile, lighting, and working alongside a pretty fantastic group of talented trades that have me taken years to curate. That custom, hand molded, plaster mantle will forever hold a place in my heart. I lived and breathed this home for 9+ months and showing this to the world is what I imagine giving birth to a perfect baby and telling everyone it’s name feels like. Ha!

But really, this project was my baby in 2022, and I am so so proud of it. It was a LOT of work, and at times wasn’t easy! But itt turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I am a one woman show most days, and this project has taught me so much about myself and has given me so much growth and confidence in my abilities both personally, mentally, and professionally.

This home fully emulates and is the purest form of my true aesthetic and is the brand behind my personal style and work that I will continue to put out in the world. I cried when I saw these photos. Allison Elefante is wickedly talented and brought this home from a full 10 to a 10 in these images.
